I get asked a lot why AltHealth365 exists, and why I care so much about honesty in an industry that doesn’t always earn it. Here’s the real story, not the highlight reel version.
What Was Happening
In 2024 I had a health scare that finally got my attention. I’d let things slide for years, poor eating habits, low activity, all the usual excuses. I knew changes were overdue, but it took an actual scare to make me act instead of just think about it.
What I Changed
I didn’t do a crash diet or buy into some 30 day transformation program. I started eating real, whole food, mostly the same handful of staples: eggs, meat, fresh vegetables, and simple sides, and cut out the processed stuff that had crept into most of my meals. I also set one simple rule for drinks: water, herbal tea, or coffee, nothing else. No calorie counting app, no supplement stack promising overnight results. Just consistent choices, repeated daily.
Where Things Stand Now
I lost 77 lbs eating that way, and the change wasn’t a quick spike. It came from sticking with the same basic habits long after the motivation of the initial scare wore off. I still eat the same way today. It’s not a diet I went on and came off of, it’s just how I eat now.
The Timeline
The scare hit in 2024. The first few months were the hardest, building the habit of cooking real food instead of grabbing something easy. After that it became normal, not something I had to think about every day. The 77 lbs came off gradually, not overnight, and that’s exactly why it’s stuck.
Why I Started AltHealth365
Somewhere in that process I got interested in supplements, mostly because I wanted to fill real gaps in my diet, not chase a shortcut. What I found was an industry full of big promises and vague labels. I started AltHealth365 because I wanted a place that told people the truth: what a supplement may realistically help with, what it can’t do, and why the basics like real food still matter more than any bottle.
