Is this safe to take alongside a daily multivitamin, or will the iodine content be too much combined? Anthony Brown asked on July 22, 2026

Good question, and an important one to ask. Bladderwrack is a natural source of iodine, so it's worth checking whether your multivitamin already includes iodine before stacking them. For most people taking a standard multivitamin, this combination is fine. But if you have a thyroid condition or take thyroid medication, I'd check with your doctor first, since iodine intake matters more in those cases.

When in doubt, look at the iodine amount on your multivitamin label, or just space the two out during the day.
