Summer always gets a little loose around here, and this September I’m resetting for more than just fall weather. This fall wellness reset is me being honest about where I’m actually at and laying out the real plan, not a polished one.
Let’s Break It Down
Every year around this time I take stock. What slipped over the summer, what’s working, what needs to change before the holidays roll in and make everything harder. This year that stock-taking is a little more personal than usual, and I’d rather tell you the truth than pretend everything’s perfect.
Here’s the Honest Part
Want to know how a slide actually starts? Not with a decision. I ended up with two pounds of candy in the house, and at first it didn’t tempt me at all. It just sat there. Then one day I ate a piece. Next day, a couple more. Two or three months later I was eating candy about every day, some weight had crept back on, and my pants were getting tight again. The turnaround wasn’t complicated: I threw it all away and got it out of the house. Everybody gains some back when they hit their lowest. There’s no shame in it. What matters is what you do next.
That’s exactly where I’m at heading into September. Working it back off, same as I always have. No shame in saying it out loud.
Day one of getting back on track, when the scale is up and it’s nobody’s fault but mine, here’s what I tell myself: we did it before, we can do it again. Same plan that worked the first time. Keep the discipline, keep the bad food out of the house, get back in the gym.

What’s My Actual September Plan?
Real quick, here’s what it looks like on paper:
Food first. Candy’s out of the house again, for good this time (I keep saying that, but this time it’s staying out). Back to real food, real meals, the stuff that actually got me from 255 to 178 in the first place.
Gym stays steady. Three days a week, forty minutes, low volume, chasing one more rep than last time, which lines up with the CDC’s activity guidelines almost by accident. Nothing fancy, just showing back up consistently.
Immune prep starts now, not in October. That’s the whole point of this week’s posts. Sleep, real food, and Quick Guard in rotation before cold season actually hits, not after.
Garden’s resting this year on purpose, and I’m leaning into that same mindset everywhere else. Sometimes the smartest move isn’t pushing harder right now. It’s setting things up right and letting the routine do the work over the next few months.

Watching for the Labor Day sale prep and Fall Immune Bundle. I’m finalizing that this month, Quick Guard, Sea Moss, and Probiotic together, so keep an eye out if that combo fits your own fall routine.
Why Tell People About the Setback at All?
Because pretending never happens around here doesn’t help anybody, and it’s not honest. Nobody is coming to do it for you. That’s the bad news and the good news. I fell off some. I’m getting back on. If you’re in the same spot right now, this is your sign that it’s normal, and it’s fixable.

FAQs
Is it normal to gain weight back after losing it?
Very common, and nothing to be ashamed of. What matters is noticing it and getting back to the habits that worked the first time, rather than letting it spiral.
What’s the first thing you’d tell someone starting a fall reset?
Get the food right before anything else. No supplement or routine fixes a kitchen full of stuff you shouldn’t be eating.
How do you stay motivated getting back on track?
Honestly, remembering I did it before helps more than anything. If it worked once, the same plan works again. It’s not a mystery, it’s just discipline, applied again.
Do you take a break from supplements when you’re resetting your routine?
No, I keep the basics steady, magnesium, turmeric, a multivitamin, Quick Guard this time of year. They support the work. The reset itself has to come from food and routine.
Final Thoughts
I don’t have this perfectly figured out, and I’m not pretending to. What I have is a plan that’s worked before, a garden that’s teaching me patience whether I like it or not, and a September in front of me to put the work back in. If you’re resetting too, we’re doing it together.
Got something like this going on too? Shoot me a message, I’d love to hear it.
